1 Reservation Agreement & Confirmation
By booking any private tour, car charter, villa stay, or adventure package through Balian Tour (via website or our official WhatsApp +62 851-5844-9402), you enter into a direct agreement with Balian Tour Bali.
Booking Confirmation Criteria:
- A booking is formally confirmed once an official digital voucher or written confirmation message with your reservation details is issued by our reservation team.
- Guests must provide an accurate hotel/villa name, room number (if checked in), pickup address, and working WhatsApp contact for coordination.
2 Cancellation Notice & Refund Schedule
We recognize that travel itineraries change. We provide one of Bali’s most guest-friendly cancellation policies:

3 Hotel Pickup & Driver Courtesy Waiting Time
Our private English-speaking drivers arrive at your hotel lobby, villa driveway, or airport arrival terminal before your scheduled departure time.
Your driver will wait up to 30 minutes free of charge at the designated lobby. If you require additional time, kindly message the driver via WhatsApp.
For airport pickups at DPS, your driver holds a greeting sign with your name. We track flight numbers and wait up to 90 minutes after landing to accommodate immigration and baggage claim.
Standard tours include complimentary pickup in Ubud, Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, Sanur, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Canggu. Remote regions (Amed, Lovina, Pemuteran) may have a modest fuel supplement.
4 Guest Safety & Adventure Health Restrictions
Bali offers thrilling outdoor adventures. To ensure your absolute safety and well-being, the following health rules apply:
Physical Health & Age Guidelines:
- High-Impact Activities (Ayung Rafting, ATV Quad Bike, Volcano Trekking): Not recommended for pregnant women, individuals with severe heart conditions, recent spine/neck surgeries, or severe epilepsy.
- Age Limits: ATV solo riders must be at least 12 years old (tandem passengers aged 5-11 welcome). Rafting is suitable for ages 7 to 65 with basic swimming capability.
- Safety Gear Mandate: Helmets, life jackets, and harnesses must be worn at all times during adventures as directed by certified local guides.
5 Balinese Cultural Respect & Temple Etiquette
Bali is the sacred "Island of the Gods". When visiting temples (such as Uluwatu, Besakih, Tanah Lot, or Tirta Empul), guests agree to observe traditional Balinese customs:
- Temple Attire:
Sarongs and waist sashes are mandatory when entering temple grounds (provided with compliments by your driver or available at the entrance). Shoulders must be covered.
- Ceremony Courtesy:
Do not walk in front of praying worshippers or step directly over sacred canang sari offerings placed on the ground.
- Sanctuary Restrictions:
Under traditional Balinese Hindu spiritual law, women during menstruation or persons with open bleeding wounds are requested not to enter the inner sanctum of temples.
6 Force Majeure, Itinerary Adjustments & Liability
Balian Tour and its drivers are not held liable for delays, cancellations, or itinerary modifications arising from events beyond reasonable operational control (Force Majeure). Such events include extreme weather, volcanic eruptions, road closures due to local religious processions (Melasti / Ngaben), unexpected vehicle accidents, or sudden government restrictions.
In any such event, your private driver and our dispatch desk will work proactively to suggest optimal alternative routes or activities to ensure your safety and maximum enjoyment.

Can we customize our itinerary on the day of the tour?
Yes! That is the primary benefit of booking a private car charter with Balian Tour. You can adjust stops, spend more time at your favorite waterfall, or skip an attraction at your leisure as long as destinations fall within the general geographic zone and standard 10-hour daily charter duration.
What happens if our tour runs longer than 10 hours?
Standard full-day charters cover up to 10 hours of service. If you wish to extend the tour for sunset dining or nightlife, a small overtime fee of 50,000 IDR (approx. $3.50 USD) per hour applies directly to compensate your driver.
How early should we book our tour?
We recommend booking at least 24 to 48 hours in advance to guarantee your preferred English-speaking driver and clean, modern vehicle. Same-day bookings can often be accommodated if requested before 8:00 AM via WhatsApp.
